Jeannette Mayes, Founder Jeannette is a PNW native who has always had an interest in Early Childhood Development and a desire to give back to her community. After completing her BS from the University of Arizona she started the first Alphabet Soup Preschool on San Juan Island in 2006. Since then, she has opened additional locations in the Green Lake and Phinney Ridge neighborhoods of Seattle. She feels extremely privileged to have had the opportunity to spend time participating in the growth and development of so many children over the years! |

Jenn Owen, Lead Teacher Jenn was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, where she received a BFA in Theatre from Northern Kentucky University. Jenn traveled the US with several children’s theatre companies teaching kids from ages 4-18. She has a strong background in Early Childhood Development teaching at Sweet Pea Cottage Preschool of the Arts in Seattle, and at The Children’s Institute for Learning Differences in Renton. Spending her days with small children is what keeps her feeling young. Jenn loves Michigan football, reading cookbooks, and exploring the food scene in Seattle with her partner, Matt! |

Stevie Holyfield, Lead Teacher Stevie was born and raised in the San Juan Islands and started working at Alphabet Soup Preschool in high school as an intern in 2007. She has a passion for teaching and continues to explore Early Childhood Development and Education. Stevie loves being in the classroom and looks forward to what the day with her students will bring. In her spare time she enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with her friends! |
